Rob Ryder

Rob Ryder is a writer/producer/director and a sports technical advisor. He has written screenplays at Paramount, Warners, Fox and others, for directors Ron Shelton, John Hughes, Walter Hill, et al. He also has two books to his credit (Hollywood Jock and Blood, Sweat and Cheers) as well as articles and columns in the NY Times, LA Times, Salon.com and ESPN.com.

As a sport tech advisor, Ryder has worked on numerous movies, TV shows, commercials and videogames – White Men Can’t Jump, Blue Chips and NBA Street Homecourt among them. Ryder graduated from Princeton where he played varsity basketball.
